A year ago, this wild food truck dream of ours was just a scribble on a napkin and a “wouldn’t it be cool if…” conversation. Flash forward to now, and it’s all happening – fast – with some major plot twists we couldn’t have planned if we tried. Here’s the latest, and stay buckled in because we’ve got lots more good stuff on the way:

Goodbye, Trailer (Hello, Dirty Soda Dream Team!)

We officially sold our first baby – the empty trailer we bought to build from scratch – to the absolute sweetest couple in Iowa. (If you’re keeping track, that trailer has made the Midwest rounds – from Wisconsin, to Illinois, and now off to to the Hawkeye State!) They’re launching their own dirty soda company (old school sodas with fun splashes of flavor), and we couldn’t have handpicked better people to take over. The dream machine lives on, and we’ll be their #1 long-distance fans!

New RIDE incoming

Selling the original rig freed up our parking spot just in time – because next week, we’re rolling in with our new food trailer! It’ll be coming in hot – fully loaded and ready to rock. She’s a beauty, and we can’t wait to show her off. Here’s a quick mockup of what she’ll look like, once we swap in our branding…and our chef:

Sandie Dogs sendoff – one night only!

This coming Wednesday at Cary Cruise Night, Chris is doing a ridealong on the Sandie Dogs trailer to learn the ropes of our new snackmobile. If you’ve ever wanted to grab one of Sandie’s legendary all-beef hot dogs with her OG sweet & salty signature barbecue topping, this is one of your last chances – she’s retiring and heading south, so come and get it while you still can! We’re buying the trailer, not the biz, so once we take the keys we’ll be subbing in our own menu.

We’ll be hanging on Main Street with Chris riding shotgun and playing sous to Sandie’s head chef, slinging dogs and serving up good vibes while learning everything we can. Come say “howdy” and help us send Sandie off right!

The Calendar is Getting Packed

The real big news? Our events calendar is filling up! So far this season we’ve got:

• Local festivals
• A “farewell to summer” farm party
• Brewery gigs
• Private events
• Neighborhood food truck nights
• And a VIP slot at the McHenry Music Festival with some seriously big-name acts!

Pop-up spice tent Open for business!

The trailer has made a lot of commotion, but we’ve also been hard at work launching our signature chef’s spice line – now available exclusively at the Cary Farmer’s Market! Come find us every Sunday through the end of the season from 9-1 out on Main Street in downtown Cary. It’s been such a blast so far – we’re loving meeting our neighbors, making new friends, being part of the incredible local artisan community – and also, petting all the dogs!

This Dream is Flying

It’s wild to think that just a year ago, this playground was only a twinkle in our eye – a “someday” kind of dream. Now we’re off and rolling on something bigger, faster, and tastier than we ever imagined.

Thanks to everyone who’s had our back, hyped us up, snagged some of our spices, listened to us rant or rave – sometimes both, and fanned the flames of our wildest dreams. We would and could not be doing this without an epically amazing crew of friends, family, and customers-turned-besties cheering us on the whole way!
